Silicon photonics chips

Macrochip has developed a series of self-patented silicon photonics chips for 100G PSM4, 100G CWDM4, 100G DR1, 200G FR4, 400G DR4, 400G FR4, 800G DR8, 800G 2×FR4 based on its innovative technologies on high-speed electro-optical modulation and high-efficiency alignment. This enables to integrate up to tens of discrete components on 5×5 mm2 silicon photonics chip, including high-speed modulators, high-performance photodiode, low-insertion-loss optical coupler, high-extinction-ratio polarization controller, low-power-consumption phase controller and wavelength division multiplexer, which featured with high bandwidth, low power consumption and high extinction ratio.
